From Gordon’s professional statement:
Helping people build the lives they want is at the center of my counseling practice. I see clients as whole people searching for balance and for solutions to troublesome questions. I help children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families identify and achieve their personal goals while creating healthy relationships. Clients are often surprised at how quickly they feel relaxed and open to sharing and exploring their lives when they meet with me. Whether you’re an adult or child, I always remember that you are the expert on your own life and that my role is to offer my education, experience, acceptance, and partnership.
I utilize Cognitive Behavioral, Solution Focused, Existential, Family Systems and other approaches to help clients get from Point A to Point B. It’s a wonderful gift to be able to work with people to solve their biggest problems, and I’m grateful for it every day.
Gordon accepts the following insurances: United Behavioral Health, Blue Cross/Blue Shield, Tricare, Tricare Prime, NC Health Choice, Cigna, Magellan, Medicaid, EAN, VocRehab, and Medcost. For those who would rather not use insurance or who don’t have insurance, Gordon offers a sliding scale of fees.
