One of our medical psychologists, Dr. Elaine LeVine, is a prescribing psychologist. She was the Director of the postdoctoral psychopharmacology program at New Mexico State University for 20 years and was the first psychologist to be licensed to prescribe mental health medication in New Mexico.

Dr. Marlin Hoover is a prescribing psychologist who continues to teach doctoral psychologists learning to prescribe mental health medications through New Mexico State University and Fairleigh Dickenson University. He is also an Emeritus Behavioral Science Faculty at the Southern New Mexico Family Medicine Residency at Memorial Medical Center in Las Cruces.

Melody Moore, is a conditional prescribing psychologist in New Mexico and a licensed psychologist in Texas. Dr. Mel has worked with children with emotional and behavioral disorders in the school setting and in foster care. She currently specializes in women. She has experience with substance use, dual diagnoses, chronic medical problems, chronic pain, and complex trauma.

Julie Peters, is a conditional prescribing psychologist in New Mexico and a licensed clinical health psychologist in NJ and NY.  She has been working with adults in private practice in NJ for over 20 years and specializes women’s health issues.
